I am a physicist/artist who has just recently decided to dedicate myself fulltime to my artwork and creative projects, i.e. until about a year ago I was a fulltime scientist, now I am a fulltime artist.
The bulk of my current artwork is reconstructive. I make collages using reused papers on furniture (which is physically reconstructive) and create somewhat representational acrylic paintings on personal trash (which is both physically and emotionally reconstructive). I also create collaged "greeting cards" from reused papers which portray a variety of points of view reconstructed from my own experiences and feelings.
I have done, and intend to do more, illustrations for child-oriented books.
I am currently exploring both myself as an artist and the avenues with which to sustain my artistic life.
Most of my artwork is for sale and a fair amount of it is on display in some form on this website.
